“If you aren’t up to loving, don’t do it!”
Mahmoud Al-Melegi
“Love is a matter of the heart, and a person has no control over it. Human hearts lie between two fingers (the fingers of Allah the merciful) and He tilts them as He wills. If love were not so very precious and fine, then so many people ever since the time of the prophets, would not have ventured there. The Prophet (may the blessing and peace of God be upon him) stressed that the flame of love can only quenched by marriage. For love which is bound by the reins of Chasity and piety gives no cause for shame. But if the marriage does not occur, then patience with the bitterness of disappointment is the only solution.
We have to distinguish between love as a practice and a behaviour, on the one hand, and the love as an emotion, on the other. It is right Islamic practice to feel love, but if love turns into acts of love, it is against the law of Islam. Many bad thing will result, because it is difficult for the person in love to keep that love in check. So what is the love that we do want? We want love that changes heart and souls. We mean love that pushes those who have it to perform deeds that will get documented in history as a beautiful love story.”

I knw this post has been way overdue. Projects has been taking up my every free time. Su, don’t try to exaggerate.. I haven’t been out on some “rendezvous” with some dude. I have seriously been busy.
But this post is not about projects or some random dude. This post is about my hard work for the past 2 effing years. I can say my poly revolves around it. All the running, weight lifting, fitness, trainings.. ahh! I can’t believe its finally over! & of course the hard work paid off.
HA!HA!HA! I feel so good just looking at this picture. I’m lost for words.. I really don’t know what to say about the whole thing. My first and last POL-ITE. I don’t know to feel good that we won or feel extremely sad cos this somewhat my last major tournament. I won’t be back in time for IVP selections. So like, this is it! My days in TPiranhas can somewhat be numbered.
However, the fond memories will remain in me. Through the whole week of POL-ITE, the Thursday will be one day that will remain in my mind for a very very very long time . It wasn’t about trash talking, plain bitching or playing/winning in the name of luck. Its about the hunger to define ourselves. & of course to show how the game is played beautifully. (cheeyy)
Marli’s tearing up was the climax of the day. Gosh! I wldn’tbe able to put in words what it felt like to win that day and to know that Marli teared up because of our win. Marli tears.. major bonus… and its about us!! The rascals! I don’t even know if we deserve it. hahaha but i guess we do. Aww Marli so sweet of you.
Come Friday.. the defining moment
